Okay, for the BGM:
-play was used (proper timing)
-system0 (no quotes, HEAVY remix, lacked of punch)
-golden slaughterer (AGAIN timed for 20 seconds, it is the exact same as the others, just used for the ending...)

For the boiler scene, I have no damn idea why they changed Kumasawa whereabouts (Kanon and Kuma were supposed to go to the kitchen until they hear that door slam, then kanon dash, kumasawa is supposed to arrive when it is too late, but in the anime, she is not only next to the boiler room before the incident, but she NEVER enters)

The pace went back on frenzy: the survivors reached kinzo's study right at the eyecatch.
Again, the "lag/timed" reactions are rather soso, but it is really debatable on the super lack of tension with the last letter .
And finally, it was clearly obvious they accelerated the pace again for again a "twilight cliffhanger". Need a better raw, but again, no so impressed by this episode at all.

I guess they will finish episode 1 way before the eyecatch of episode 1-5.

Alright, it's a good idea to put some service toward VN readers into anime, but THERE'S LIMIT! :frustrated:

Well anyway, several info that has left out in previous episode has been stuffed in this episode, such as Jessica's asthma.
So, while it nonetheless remains fast paced, anime at least covers what anime should cover so far... well, I think.

Oh btw, it looks like each stakes are of different shape in anime, or am I hallucinating things?

For people who've seen the ep, do you hear Beato's laugh when Kanon's in the boiler room like in the VN? (Also the first time you hear the "ahahahaha" SFX :heh:)

Yes, that really surprised me, with that zoom on the portrait (in fact, I was already caught offguard by the SFX of the stake bouncing off the walls).
I have no idea if they will use it again, but it might be wayyy too awkward with ohara if they don't make her laugh :heh:

Yes, they used both:
First, Kanon had his cleaver, but heard a sound: the "stake bouncing off the walls" one for like 3 seconds, then we get a flash, the "ahahahaha".wav and a very close zoom on portrait beatrice's eyes (similar to the original setup).

This episode felt more rushed than the last one to me... my favorite parts felt kinda butchered to me.
