Non-painted review of HG Ahead :
http://www.geocities.jp/hobby_no_toriko/DSCF10721.jpg http://www.geocities.jp/hobby_no_toriko/hg-ahead.html the kit's articulation seems great for a bulky suit like that :D Not only its leg articulation is great , its shoulder's is great too imo |
Dalong gave his review for MG Infinite Justice. It got 106 points! :D
Love the Ahead's design. Going to order it as soon as it hits the shelves  |

Hey guys, I've been collecting gundam models for a while now by simply snapping kits together; however, after seeing all these painted, modded models, I regret not getting into the act a lot sooner and just now hope to get started...I have a question for you guys tho; I'm working on a PG strike and was wondering if anyone here knew how I could achieve a silver metallic internal skeleton like the one below
http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t...e/gundam09.jpg I know this color scheme for the frame isn't for everybody but I think it's cool. Just to let you guys know, my supplies are limited to Tamiya spray cans. Is it possible with only spray cans? Would priming first be crucial given it's a metallic paint (and would I prime with a white or grey base)? Then could I simply spray with Tamiya silverleaf or something similar followed by a gloss topcoat? Or are there a number of steps that I'm missing? Any input would be greatly appreciated. |
