Do we have a summary at all NeoSam?
|
I don't do summaries, only very small synopsis >_<
Its the Taishou era. Koume is a 14 year old girl that goes to a girl's only school. One day she was suddenly asked by her best freind (nicknamed "Ojou") to play baseball together... A baseball light novel about an all girls baseball team... Animation Original Character Concept: Koutaro Hopefully I didn't get anything wrong >_< guh how much I don't like kanji >_< |
Rather innocent sounding.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_era_name The Taishou era is 1912-1926. |

Sounds to me like it's the next Princess Nine moreso than a Yuri anime, but whatever. XD

I have no interest whatsoever in baseball; besides, what's so entertaining about it? :p
but... the prospect of having an all-female cast with no male presence in sight is an idea I can't quite shake from my mind. I mean, what are my chances of having 2 or more scenes aimed to build some kind of yuri kinship? :p |
The "girls' games/sports team" (with maybe one guy for good measure) genre of anime has been steadily growing on me. Umisho, Bamboo Blade, the upcoming Saki...
So this is preemptively on my to watch list. Take me out to the ballgame. |

Report from the Tokyo Anime Fair 2009
Coverage of this anime from the Tokyo Anime Fair 2009:
http://gigazine.net/index.php?/news/...aisho_taf2009/ |
The OP has been confirmed as "Romantic Strike", sung by the group of Kanae Itou, Mai Nakahara, Kana Ueda and Mamiko Noto.
|
Where did you hear that?
|
From the single that appeared in the listings at the Animate website today.
|
Good news and slightly-less-than-good news.
We've got a start date (7/2), and it'll be inheriting K-ON!'s time slot. However, it being TBS means the whole fullscreen-and-then-wait-for-widescreen-several-weeks-later deal. |
The ED has been confirmed to be "Yume Miru Kokoro" by Kanae Itou.
|
Is it only an ordinary sport anime or is it something like Saki?
