Weird. Mine just works just fine and the luster didn't fade at all.

Drawing Pen, not the best solution for lining but better than XBAWHUEG gundam marker

Problem is that I hate washing/reverse washing, so I just choose the smallest pen around. That and Gundam marker's color suck.

Have you tried the Real Touch pens? IMO they're leagues better than the standard cheap lining pens, and they cover nub marks on top of that

My only gripe with them is that they are not thin enough to get into the really recessed spots, which in this case the small pens rule (I use them too, Sakura brand, great stuff, biggest complaint though is that they dont come in grey, but then again, the line is so thin that nobody would notice, except for on close inspection)

Personally, I believe that it's hard to stop after your first kit. Mine was a HGUC Unicorn and after completing it, I thought it looked lonely alone and had to get another :heh:

PS: A micro-tip pen, which doesn't cost a lot, may also enhance the appearance of said kit.

I'd rather get a Mr. Beargguy 'cause the cuddliness or a Dijeh if it exits, but Gogg is in my top 25 favorite non-gundam MSes/MAs (oh hell, /m/'s gonna find out I posted in one of their threads!). What really makes it picky for me are accessories, reeeeeeeally don't care for those.

Dijeh only exist as expensive, unpainted resin custom set, unfortunately.

EDIT: Nevermind, HLJ have them. However, it's a no-grade model and such crappy in everything.

I wanted to make double sure Gogg was beginner friendly.

It's kind of old, but not that much. So it'll be easy to build, and still detailed well.

If you're still not sure, save your money and see if the store will get another in the near future.

Only problem with this is some people hate the metallic sheen of the lead, something to consider

The smudging is actually a great budget weathering/wear too

Which is good for mostly black kit like say, my Overflag.

Is master grade hard to built for first timer?

Depends on which MG we're talking about

Latest MG (From 00 and beyond) are horrendously difficult, if I may say.

Gunpla are easy to build, regardless of grade
