Alright I've put up the WIP for this kit on my blog.
Don't worry they are in English. ^ ^ AkoHobby 1/100 RGM-79S GM Spartan Conversion kit Part 1 AkoHobby 1/100 RGM-79S GM Spartan Conversion kit Part 2 AkoHobby 1/100 RGM-79S GM Spartan Conversion kit Part 3 |

The orange on the second GM looks a bit too shiny, and textured. I hope you're planning to matte it.
Oh, and the scratchbuilt gatling gun is complete on the RX! I also added some final touches as far as weathering goes, painted the other leg (OGMOGMOGM) and reconfigured the chains. The head remains the only thing left. Gatling completed - http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSC00953.jpg Rush! - http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSC00952.jpg Full Burst? - http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSC00954.jpg Yes, I know I blurred the pictures a bit too much. Bite me. It's "cool". |
That's because it's still waiting for the decal and weathering before final top coating... ^ ^
|
Okay. I see.
|
Looking at the photos it seems you need to work on the field of depth a bit...
There's a way to capture entire model in focus from what I was told... But then again with old digicam I'm using it's bit hard - yep I'm still stuck with 3MP Cannon since missus is using T100~ T^T |
I only have a 5.0 Megapixel camera at the moment - it's the best I got (besides, the blurring was done on purpose: I was playing around with iPhoto) T_T
Run for cover! - http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u...t=DSC00955.jpg |
Mate, I won't mind the latest DSLR but missus said no~~
so there.... OTL |
Haha...by the way, nice Spartan conversion you got there. I just realized I never commented on it.
|
That's ok.
I'm beginning to feel that there aren't that many who got the conversion kit nor working on it at the moment... In any case I'm butchering this thing to my satisfaction anyway~ |

I have a feeling that if I buy a MG Unicorn, I will end up breaking its horn when playing with its transformation :heh:

on thay note i was thinking the horn splits into the traditional v fin tho its yellow when split wonder how they r gonna pull it off. that n the full body transformation i dont want lights or anything that kinda crap will hinder model felxability i hoping for sum really nice florecent red sticks or such to make it look nice. |

GN Sword is cool. But his head does look funny without any painting.
I will only get the HG 1/144 while waiting for the MG. Let's hope I can hold off my desire to buy this kit :D |

Is this compressor acceptable for airbrushing?
http://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Mini-Ai.../dp/B000BRBZP6 I would probably end up getting a different airbrush. Thanks |
Mighty-Mini? I used to used that when I was a beginner. It's pretty good AB.
