Damn. So even if you paint the inner frame, you won't be able to see much or any detail...?
Sucks...

But at least the prices are lowered to match this.

I think you can’t really blame Bandai from making Titus’ inner frame lack in details since the Gundams in AGE is so simple-looking they rival the original RX-78-2. Furthermore, do you really want to display Titus’ inner frame? (beside those who like to open their MGs to show off the frames for dioramas, etc) Coz imo the main attraction of this kit is the bulky arms & shoulders. Yes, Bandai can absolutely do better, but for the lower price & practicality’s sake, I think it’s worth the (less) effort. ;)

Bashfulz 2012-03-16 13:06

wow, the inner frame of the titus really looks plain. yucks, this is one kit where there is really no point if bandai ever releases clear armor pieces. :(

on the other hand i'm pretty excited about the genoace II. http://schizophonic9.com/re3/hg_genoaceII.html havent picked up the genoace or the custom but i'm feeling this will be the one im going to get. :)

Translated version of the earlier HG Gundam AGE-3 promotion poster, with a new main image for the AGE-3:

Bonta Kun 2012-03-16 15:29

^Yea that image just kinda reinforces my thoughts that the AGE stuff don';t really look good as models but work great for the anime.
I mean I like the Titus in the anime it's cool in that regard but no matter what I wouldn't get it as a MG/HG kit, not something I fancy having up on my shelf.
Now same can be said for AGE-3 as well, really only like the AGE-1 normal and Spallow and Woolf's suits.

p.s. only time a gun should be underslung is if it's a gattling gun;)

HasuMasu 2012-03-16 22:18

It comes with its own stand? I must ponder this.

That, or if it fires huge beams. :D

Looking good. Although the AGE-3 does look better in lineart than in model kit form, the HG doesn't look half bad. I do hope the yellow parts aren't stickers. Looking forward to picking it up!

maknaedik 2012-03-17 00:44

I'm pretty sure that the yellow parts are actually plastic, except for the core fighter's

casval cehack 2012-03-17 01:35

From this clearer photo, the yellow on the core fighter looks colored plastic. After all, this is a four runner HG. Although Bandai might make those canopies stickers to promote a MG.

I had hoped those would be clear parts but from this picture it doesn't seem to be the case. Sigh.

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2012-03-17 02:58

Well, if Bandai decide to make all the Normal Gundams into MGs, I'll def get AGE-3 Normal first. It just looks more badass (& once again, bulkier) than the other Normals. For the alternative form, so far, I just fancy the MG Spallow and nothing else.

Sworra 2012-03-17 04:42

I'm not liking the AGE-3 normal at all, those legs are so plain jane.. Especially coming from a new age and it being bulky, i don't see how there is no room for better detail. But of course this is the HG kit so i expect the MG to have more. By the looks of it AGE-2 normal is looking to be promising.

Which particular Age-2N model, the HG 1/144 or the 1/48 Megasize?

HasuMasu 2012-03-17 07:34

The Mega Size looks magnificent with some minor touch-ups, which is absolutely no problem at that scale.

Anybody have MG FAZZ , Ext S Gundam or S Gundam? im considering cashing in once i have the cash available. How was the kit?

RX93-2 2012-03-17 11:02

I have (had actually, It fell and broke) the S Gundam.
It is a very nice kit, especially for it's age, pose ability isn't much of a problem unlike Ex-S Gundam and I like it's design.

It's very oldschool UC MG in both the good and bad ways though.

Dragonar 1 Cavalier tribute ?

After seeing rrobbert's review of the Zeydra, what can it possibly benefit from an MG?

That this is a beast.

Its MG will have the beam effect part for the Zeydora rifle. Plus it would spin 3 times faster on the gunpla turntable.:D

I don't have these 3 kit, but have seen some review & the model upclose. I can conclude that :

MG FAZZ & Ext S Gundam = well..it's a "brick" with nice details & accessories..

S Gundam = decent poseablitiy,great accessories,nice detail worthy of a MG...

If im not mistaken rrobbert184 have reviewed Ext S Gundam & vegeta8259 have reviewed MG FAZZ. It might help you out.:D
