The setting is not really attractive but I will give it a try if the MC is not useless like Ichika in IS

The MC here is pure hax. And he has the title of [Black Hero] although most people doesn't know that except for his sister and some people at the end of Vol 1. He also has a better back story compared to Ichika, since he is the prince of the old kingdom and is now in debt. The reason why he got enrolled into the school is also to pay off his debts. And since this is a LN well, you have to add fanservice in it to make it successful? (Japan Logic)

I'm a bit confused by the synopsis. Did the main character go to another country or did the heroine's family overthrow the main character's family as the ruling dynasty and usurped his throne?

The original Kingdom got taken down by the revolution 5 years ago(a coup de tat). So another royal family took over(the heroine).

Oh, so they are supposed to be enemies....The premise sounds a bit like the anime Romeo x Juliet--except the roles are reversed.

Decided to read this just because of Kasuga Ayumu doing the art :p

I like this series though how the mc is treated does concern me. A former prince who is treated like shit from the current royals and nobles. Well, he was already treated like one before the coup detat and he detested his old empire and the majority of the imperial family which led him to destroy it.
I like how the dragride(their robot suit) has three standard types and Lux also has one he mostly uses. Well, he does have a different one more superior then it, but having a mc using ones the grunts would use is refreshing since he's still capable of fighting despite his nickname, the weakest undefeated.
Certainly one of the few series besides Asterisk that is potentially good with similar setting as IS(In otherwords chicks with armor suits).
