Ok, this thread is meant for Shana manga-only readers. I left the first post (editing out the part about novels) to NeoSam's name so that he could update it if he wishes to do so.

If you had open *manga* discussion from the existing thread, please move them all here :)

The third volume was released the 27th april 2007

As far as i could get from some feedbacks, the art has improved, and the story itself is still on the Friagne Arc, with the appearance of Margery Daw.

Vol 3 is better than Vol 1. I enjoyed it more than lackluster Vol 1.

HayashiTakara 2007-10-11 01:42

I bought that art book last weekend, it was well worth the 45 bucks

Owaranai Destiny 2007-10-11 09:49

So far all three books seem to only focus on
Spoiler:

As for Book 4, and the Eternal Song...Well, I'm looking forward to the both of them, especially what had happened with Mathilda and Wilhelmina in the past.

You'll have to define "scenes" more descriptively. It's the usual "she's naked but you don't see anything".

Are you talking about the translated version or the original? I know they did some censoring in the translated novel but I'm not sure about the manga. I own the originals so I can't comment on this specifically.

thanks!

are those in english? or in japanese?

thx.

Viz's translations are in English. I don't know if there are other translations, I haven't heard anyway.

nephilim 2007-11-15 09:20

For those interested, there is a Traditional Chinese version of the manga too ^^" I saw it at the local bookstore and bought the first volume. Three volumes are out.

I've gotten all three. The story sticks closer to the novels than the first season did.

Domo-Chan 2007-11-25 17:09

but it explains alot about the world that the show doesn't touch

Domo-Chan 2007-11-27 20:53

Only three volumes has been released for the manga thus far, how do you have a "fourth"? The second volume had a limited edition release as a bundle with another small book named GRIMOIRE, is that what you mean by four?

Domo-Chan 2007-11-27 22:46

Yes actaully thanks for clarifying that. I haven't even romoved the wrapping on them so i wouldn't know what's in them. As i said there for collection purposes only. I enjoy the english ones and read those though.
