what I'd like an opinion on is, which is the best quality kit? I already like the designs, what I want to know is how well are they put together, do they have any serious flaws in design, and how poseable are they?

i got this website "http://www.dalong.net/" from some nice people in this thread regarding one of the kits: Hu-Nu Gundam. It had a score of 99/100. I receive it as my bday present and looking at the poses on that website and actions it can do, it really is amazing.:) I suggest you check that website so you can compare the kits altogether

I've only built Zeta 2.0 the legis bit stiff and due to the design Zeta is probably the least poseble in these 3. all of them are pretty recent, so their quality should all be good. I've seen a lot people complain about Hi-Nu's face in other forums. and i've heard a lot good things about Turn A.

i think ppl complain about Hi-Nu new design, before its redesign. Hi-Nu was much bulkier and sexier IMO:D

Here's a clear pic from the link by doutiga.

Yeah. A solid piece of work there, with this Trans-Am Exia. Kinda makes me wanna buy another model kit and work on it :D. I just hope I won't have to wait another whole month for the Aegis I've just ordered.

What I think is that the 00 world is already expanding with the sidestories.
The first Gundam in 00 is 0 Gundam, then come the Astraea batch, then the Exia batch, then the 00V variations, then 00 Gundam.

Its already expanding.
Its similar to how it happens in Gundam SEED.

Strike Gundam to Strike Freedom is like Gundam to Hi-Nu Gundam(or even V2 Gundam) to me, then it makes G-SEED to G-SEED Destiny like First Gundam to Char's Counterattack(to V Gundam?). The technology advance real fast from bullets to beam to dragoons and wings of light (no more technology to accompany the story). Probably 00 will be like that.

The sidestories already form a timeline on its own.
UC took its time but CE and AD come full speed.

Ok, getting OT for a gunpla thread :P

LightningZERO 2008-04-30 00:38

To hide the fact that it's actually a Gundam

if you are looking for something with great flexbility in posing, has aerodynamic consideration, clean on the design but with a lot of panel lines, huge and comes with a cow(yes, a cow!), go for turn A. it scored 104 out of 100 on dalong i think.

it is the 100th gundam and given the most treatment.

zeta gundam is good if u want a plane, the flexibility of posing isn't there. Hi-Nu IMO is too bulky you have a hard time posing without a stand.

subaruhess 2008-04-30 03:09

Bandai finally show us the boxart to the force impulse master grade found here, the pose reminds me of exia gundam.

mangatron 2008-04-30 04:29

Now thats a nice looking cover. But I feel sorry for the poor Dagger in the background. But I won't feel sorry if that means the Dagger will be MG'ized :heh: :heh:
