The shounen(boy's) light novel series Dhurarara!! by Narita Ryougo (author) and Yasuda Suzuhito (illustrator) will be getting a TV anime adaptation.

A shounen manga adaptation of this shounen light novel series started serialization in the shounen manga magazine GFantasy on April 18th, 2009. The manga is drawn by Satorigi Akiyo.

I wonder if the novels are any good, I mean, this coming from the same author as Baccano!

From the covers alone, I'm rather interested. Any synopsis at all for this? Can't seem to find one anywhere so far.

Baccano! staff + Baccano! author = 2nd seaso... oh it's Dhurarara!! :( Sigh.. we better not get a Vamp! anime before we get a second season of Baccano!. Putting aside my disappointment in not getting a sequel to one of my fav anime shows period I'll definately be watching this since it's the same team adapting another Ryohgo Narita light novel series.

I want baccano second season . . . but this other work of the author looks awesome! I CANNOT WAIT! OHMYGOD!!!!!!!!!!

Does anyone else think those character designs look a lot like the gang from Yozakura Quartet?

Has the same character designer.

LOL - well, that explains it! Somehow in noting the Baccanno! connection, I missed that one. Kamisamo Kazoku as well, eh? I enjoyed the CD for that one a lot - I wouldn't necessarily have noticed it was the same designer as YQ.

That's a tall order.

True, only few animes are better than Baccano! (imo of course). But still same author and same studio I could always hope.

That cast is definitely a winner! I'm having trouble finding a plot summary. Anyone know what this is about?

And oh, there are character images from the site by the way! I compiled them together with the seiyuu and promo announcement. But I really hope someone could translate the descriptions of the characters and the story *_* I wanna learn more about this~

I'm game for any series that has strong creative ties to Baccanno!. But I just can't over how much the character designs look like Yozakura Quartet, a show I didn't like all that much. I know it's the same designer but even so, it's a bit freakish.
