As I feared, Yozora and Sen are...it's despair time.
I don't see them doing all that badly...
^ You're the one who counted it, based on your count it's not going too well. :heh:
Well, they're not leading, but assuming that my count has SOME basis in representing reality (it's not a surefire thing unfortunately), they're not going to have any problems getting in prelims, and nomination results are not much tied with prelim results (look at Ika-musume and Laura last year)

http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...lstandings.jpg In 2009, it was Hakurei Reimu, Aisaka Taiga, and Kirisame Marisa. In 2010, they were Akiyama Mio, Senjougahara Hitagi, and Shiina Mafuyu In 2011, it was Kuroneko, Kosaka Kirino, and Eucliwood. This year, it is likely that Akemi Homura and Kashiwazaki Sena will be among top 3. ( We are still counting ). So, will Akemi Homura perform more like Kirisame Marisa in 2009 or Akiyama Mio in 2010 ? |
I would say something in between. I VERY highly doubt that she will be the Mio (2010ver) of 2012, but I don't think she'll do as bad as the Touhou characters of 2009. Maybe on the level of Holo in 2011.
I believe 2010/2011 is a better representation, so the worst Homura could do is Kirino/Mafuyu level, which isn't too bad. So Homura will make Top 16, the question is how far after that.

I'm still of the opinion that Homura had a field advantage in her exhibition against Kuroneko, and losing that match honestly doesn't speak well of her. She should have enough support behind her to get in the regular seasons (although if she doesn't get in on phase II, she might need to have some luck with phase III not landing on a group with a black horse), but without seeing concrete data on her performing better, I wouldn't bet anything on her getting in the nova 16s, or even being a top 16 hopeful near the end (like Victorique or Saber in 2011).
If she doesn't pull off straight wins through the openning (round robin I mean) then she might be the one used to snip the "zero" loss girls, because she can probably get backing when needed to oppose someone.

This year, I'd welcome her just getting in it since she has not had any new TV time. |
Does that means results will be posted soon?
Btw, gratitude to those doing the painstaking vote counting. |
Three days have passed
It is still two or three hours until the usual results time for ISML.
Was the last year's result published at the customary 3AM GMT as well?
The vote counters got interrupted this year when they were called in to count the New Hamphire primary vote. Once they finish that they'll get back to ISML.
Nearly done. Just double and triple checking. It matters the most right at the cutoff point, of course. :) Sorry for the wait but it may be one more day. Thanks for your patience!
