Here's my roughly drawn, take on the backpack gundam... Yeah, the proportions kinda suck, and we can't see the underside of the backpack so, I guessed some parts, just kinda rough.

In related news The-O will get the MG treatment.

Apparently there was a poll to see which mech fans wants a MG version the most, V2 came in first, The-O second and 00 Raiser came in third.

Hey!
It's been a while since I've actually bought a kit since the MG Exia IM but recently I have more time so I was looking into more kits. I was hesitant to get the PG 00 Raiser when it first released but now that hobbylink has it on sale, it is extremely tempting to get. I was just wondering if any of you got the kit and if it is actually worth it?

SonicSP 2010-05-24 01:21

It costs alot I believe and there is an upcoming MG so put that into consideration.

Can't say much about the model itself since I don't own it but there's nothing really wrong about it I hear, not to the level of the 1/100 version at least.

sorry for late response.. The Kshatriya with its Funnel Containers fully spread out is about - Width 9 Inches, Height 8 Inches, Length 6 Inches,- It's wider then two 1/144 Jegan's standing beside each other, and a MG GN-X, in height It's funnel Containers reach about as tall as the GN-X's (Shoulder GN particle Tanks?)

I like the first one better but I really have a problem with its shade of blue. The shade of blue on the 2nd one is perfect but the model itself is...............

I wonder though........is that an LED in the cylindrical chest of the first one? It is shining, but I also wonder if its a camera flash?

I hope the articulation of the mass produced model will be as good as the HG 00 Gundam but that remains to be seen for the moment. We'll find out in August I guess.

I think its just shoulders, rather than shoulder particle tanks.

My my, I guess you really get a grip on the Kshatriya's size once you put it side by side to an MG. Building mine will take ages then.

I guess it's also good then because it happens to cost about as much as an MG too......

well do u want a PG for ur collection? i bought the PG 00 raiser without hesistation cos i wanted a kit that demanded attention in my display case. no kit is without its flaws but overall its a solid kit, the wings dont sag and still comes with display case.

check dalong if u want some reviews, but as Sonic said, a MG is currently in the planning stage although i doubt we'll see it until maybe early next year. so if you want to hang around for MG then you should wait for it, but its really the size and gimmicks that ur paying for with the PG

SonicSP 2010-05-24 09:34

Not mention, the MG itself may not be good when it comes out, or it may be very good. I suggest you weigh your options very carefully. Think about the cost you are willing to pay and the scale you may prefer. And weight it aganints the things I've said.

I have heard a bit about the frame not being in detail though but that depends on how much of that you want to show off. Weigh your options carefully.

Thanks for the feedback! I checked dalong for a review on the PG itself and I feel that it's not a bad kit at all. The size screams "LOOK AT ME" which I like but it seems now I am more decided on getting it after seeing the video of the GN Drive gimmick. I mean, how awesome is the spinning? :heh:

Which gundam marker color is better to panal line a gundam? Black or gray?

I guess it's whichever you want, black stands out a bit more than the gray, if you have a model with light grey, like the 00 Raiser designer version then grey fits with the colour, but it's just your preference.

Hmmm....I see what do you say if it's MG Strike Freedom? I already did the exoskeleton in black. Think I should just continue to do black for the whole kit?

fizzmaister 2010-05-25 03:09

I do grey on all white parts and black everywhere else.

SonicSP 2010-05-25 03:27
