Built Buster Gundam already. I shall wait for my Cherudim before I start the assembling marathon :heh:

The conversion rate to yen has completely scared me off buying Gunpla for the forseeable future.

Is no one else here affected by this? Or is it just the pound that has tumbled?

Ah, I feel exactly the same way buddy, the £ has become so weak recently against the $ and Yen, so I haven't been buying model kits. Still need to get MG Impulse and IJ, I'm kinda glad Bandai aren't releasing too many kits that I like at the moment. :eyespin:

To me, Impulse and IJ are great. And as MG kits, they seem to be the ones of best quality and poseability. Not to say that Impulse improved much in terms of looks from its TV series counterpart. Longer fins FTW! In SEED, I've always preferred the mecha with jetpacks over the ones with wings.

NZ-003 Gadensa (?) & GNR-101A Achiya (?) - new units from Gundam Double O Season 2. Achiya might be the support unit for Arios.

It's Gadessa and GN Archer. And it seems 0 Raiser will be released in HG 1/144 form too. I wonder if it will come with 00's shields? Then I won't have to buy the 1/100 version! :D

i think they will..look @ what they done to HG Gn Arms Type D :upset:

I hope Bandai won't come up with a brilliant idea that involves selling 0 Raiser first, but then in a special set with 00 Gundam Trans-Am color, complete with the shields!!!

Considering how Bandai is releasing both bundled and seperate kits for the 1/100 O-Raiser, I have no doubt that Bandai is indeed capable of pulling off such a move on us :uhoh:

I have just noticed, but it seems the paint job for the 00 changes after it receives the 0 Riser.

I don't care about the waist joint...what bugs me is the waist can no longer rotate. That joint in the middle of the chest doesn't allow it to move much at all

I think it's just a special paint job to differentiate the set's 00 Gundam and the early released 00 Gundam. Maybe it's the designer's original color?

So, what makes this unit special, other than the huge projectile or close combat weapon?
