I'm going to be keeping an eye out here in japan for it now...

I just hope it's a decent story... I can never tell with Japan. But I already like the character designs.

I did enjoy R+V2,

but i will not up much hope for this series, probably will only give it a try after it got 20 chapters or so.

I mean, let's be honest: it takes around 15~20 chapters for a Shonen Jump titles to get decent, despite being a cutthroat magazine for content...

I suspect we won't get a synopsis until we either get the first chapter, or until we get closer to actual publication date

That reminds me about the art- The guy looks like an older Tsukune (to be more precise, he looks like Tsukune with a dash of one of the villains whose name I can't recall), and the girl looks like the actual blend of Inner/Outer Moka (or True Moka, i guess)

I just hope they're the actual main characters, and not purely promotional.

That guy hair and looks did remind me of tsukune but his pose reminds me of that villain glasses-kun in his school. Can't say for moka. All the drawing for girls are nice and they look the same to me. mostly. different color hair and hair style.

My first impression is I thought Kentarou and Ikeda are working together, but it seems I was wrong. Still, why he didn't want to make a trilogy like Kentarou did which only two same series (TLR)? I think it's better to wrap up the trilogy.

Personally, these character designs are very different to R+V characters. If anything, the man in the picture appears to be more like Hokuto than Tsukune, and the girl is way too short to be comparable to Moka - she more resembles Yukari if she had grown out her hair.

Regardless, let’s hope this eventually leads to some Rosario + Vampire content.... a cameo would be sublime!

New series by Ikeda (in a combo with someone else--but it's something from him either way) sounds great. I'll try to keep up with this thread on new updates on it--although you guys really should consider making a new thread for the series since this is already Rosario + Vampire thread.

It does seem kind of interesting that he's going from a vampire to a ghost (as the heroine I mean).

Probably the genre or his proficiency is still same, R+V was a Youkai Theme so I expect this will be the same theme as well.
