Umaru is such an amazing little sister. I means normally, the sister character is often built on on her relationship with her older brother. But Umaru, she simply stand out by herself....

I love this manga to bits, I almost enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy Yotsubato! though in a much different way I suppose.

both manga however make me grin like the chesire cat and start my day of with wonderful feels :D

This older brother has to be the greatest older brother in history. The amount stuff he tolerate is astounding. The way the sister act is still very cute though.

Overall it is very enjoyable to read, but would like to see more characters in the future.

Thanks for the heads up on this one. I have read up to ch 4 and have found myself giggling more than once. ^^

Ah, I have been enjoying this for a while.

I would love it better if there it would have been some serious context under the surface (like, the brother doing something wrong before, which caused Umaru to develop that duality; that would nicely explain the divine patience he has towards her). I would also like it if the onii-san had some duality of his own (like having hidden delinquent traits or something :heh:)

Honestly speaking, some of Umaru's antics would have been pretty much wearing down one's patience, especially in some of the earlier chapters. Being an older brother myself, I did feel an urge to snap at her if she were my younger sister. However, I take it as part of the comedy of the series. Umaru's still adorable despite all her antics though. :heh:

So... 23 released :

Umaru is such a good/bad little sister! Her brother is always great in taking care of her + discipline (i.e. 19 C air conditioning), even though he gets soft on her easily. I really loved the chapter where she woke up and he was gone and thought she was abandoned :D

He'll end up marrying Ebina in the future, I approve this. :heh:

His life is ironically the most stable (and arguably the most happy) one in the game. :heh:

Also, he is very perceptive about Kirie, who not only has quite poor luck but is also a painfully-shy girl - the only person she is seen talking comfortably with is himouto-mode Umaru, but it appears that she's warming up to Taihei as well.

Who is G.C.X. supposed to be?

Game Center CX is a show where they grab a humorist, Shinya Arino; and they put him doing gaming marathons. Usually the objective is for him to clear a game on XX hours and whatnot.... The thing is that, he isn't that good; and they show put emphasis on the parts that get the best reactions out of him.

The games are usually classics and are pretty hard, which can make the show pretty funny--- Plus there is the nostalgia factor if you are member of a generation that lived through those games, seeing someone going through the learning experience can be quite something.

So, the game contest is over... I wonder why the oujo-sama acted like that? Maybe love at first sight? :heh:

Speaking of, GCX / Arino using "give up", is something that happens in the actual show

Could have been love at first sight but with a previous theme before it could be her brother.

Either way I think it should still be fun seeing what the deal is there anyway.

This series has soooooo much moe to it, it's pretty deadly.
I'm torn between who I like more Umaru or Ebina!
So will just have to opt for age old answer, I choose both!

So far with the pattern it's been going with, I'm very sure Alex has a younger sister and it'll be Sylphin. :heh:

The three co-workers with imoutos all in the same class (mirroring their workplace). It appears that Sylphin might be a brocon though (if what I speculate is true), from her quite extravagant reaction.

The bond between T.S.F and U.M.R is quite something. I hope she'll eventually tell her that she's Umaru.
But I still wish to see her with her mask...

I'm really amazed Sylfin is just so darn cute that I didn't see it coming. I thought she was ok at the early chapters but in the last couple her extreme pure cuteness just boosted her to the top for me.
