A Song A Day (Electronic Music Version)
So we came to the conclusion, that recommending certain artists for a genre does not really work, as most arstists' styles vary too much.
Listing all your favorite artists is not specific enough to really point to the good songs made by those artists. Also such a list is both too much information at once and too much work to go through, overwhelming the lazy of us. ;) I would still love to tap into the vast knowledge of our users' music reportoire. It's still the best way to discover new music. So how about this thread? - Post only one or two songs a day. If you know more, keep them in reserve for later. - Don't only post your absolute favorites, although those are a good start. Aim for whatever is interesting, new, or needs more attention for some reason (we won't judge your taste in music based on this ;) ). Kicking it off with some Engrish and synthesizers :D |
I have been listening to some Finnish sounds lately.
I had heard of Cytokine before, but I don't think I'm ready to fully embrace the WOB just yet :D It was a good track, though. |
Dont forget to switch to 480p, it's a completely different song from 360p (is it possible to default to a higher resolution with these forum tags?) |
Quite chilled out DnB. That's another style I have to delve into at some point. I'll continue with the chill-out theme. Quality is awful, but it sounds good enough on my speakers.
I just have to add another track I just came across. It has a great vibe! |
I diamond in the rough from the ninties.
Singer from New Order, Guitarist from The Smiths. |
Continuing with something funky to get my day started.

Already some great songs (although german GEMA is fcking with me, won't let me listen to Miyuki-ism's)!
Found a better quality version of Nainen, love it. Alright, here's some crazy jcore :D |

:hyper-^v^::hyper-^v^: http://www.threadbombing.com/data/me...ekdio1_400.gif ------- I love this one. Very repetitive and high BPM mind you. |
I'll continue with j-core since the preview for the latest Solidcore album is up.
One of my favourite tracks from Solidcore II. |
Yesssss!! Fixed my sound setup finally!
Warning! Switching system to japanese locale so you can play eroge, then messing with your sound card settings (which are all in Kanji now) will make things sound really weird. ;) Here's everyone's favorite furry: |
I'm in a mood for something relaxing after that last track :D Gonna continue with the psychedelia. Pardon for pushing the same artist, but he just makes so good stuff.
|
Something uplifting and inspirational :)

|
^ Interesting track. Now, more psy!
|
We need to go HARDER.
|
hmmm ok :D
Somehow I tend to combine 'harder' with 'more wacky'. Have a lot of these types. Otherwise the harder songs bore me quickly. |
BETTER:
Tori no Uta - DJ Sharpnel (Speedfreak's Noise Remix) http://grooveshark.com/#!/s/DJ+Sharp...x/2z08dk?src=5 There's also the M-Project remix, Sharpnel did two versions of Tori no Uta. I only have it on CD. Because Youtube doesn't have it and is full of fan made bleeeh D: Sharpnel fans probably know this song already and there seems to be a lot of Sharpnel fans here :D |
And FASTER.
