MG Gelgoog 2.0 should be interesting.

MakubeX2 2007-03-21 04:17

So MG.98 will be Char's Zaku Ver 2.0, MG.99 Char's Gelgoog Ver 2.0.

Suddenly the possibility of another version of the RX-78 for the 100th MG releases just seem a lot higher.....

mangatron 2007-03-21 08:40

See, I knew that there would be both a green and a Char's Zaku II Ver 2.0, and both counting towards the 100th MG count no less.:heh:

Who was it that told me recolours don't count? :heh: :heh:

(Ok I understand it's got a crane too, but still, a recolour is a recolour, albeit with different boosters probably :heh: )

JackRydden224 2007-03-21 13:11

I hope Char's Gelgoog 2.0 would be the one from CDA....

Let's not kid ourselves, 95% of us knew that the 100th MG was going to be the Rx-78...

LoweGear 2007-03-21 13:16

I SOOOOOO predicted the HGUC Ground Type didn't I? Well, it's very good news nonetheless.

The HCMPro Destroy though? Now that is a surprise O_O I wonder how large that thing will be...

Sorry for bringing this up again,
anyone know what were the flaws for Zeta v 2.0 according to Dalong's review? Just curious..anything significant?

I think Dalong was pointing out that foot job, the part where the Zeta's sole wouldn't match the rest of his foot on a level surface :heh: :heh:

:uhoh: Ok, so tell me who wouldn't have thought the 100th MG might be a R-78? :heh::heh:

Everyone thought that, man! It's like saying the first MG would be the RX-78! It's like saying the first PG would be the RX-78! It's like...:heh: :heh:

On a side note, the only way to make this special is to make a massive RX-78 MG pack. That is, include the RX-78, 3, 4, 5, G, Super and whatever other incarnation of the RX-78 there ever was! And of course, use the most modern engineering of inner frame one can possibly fit into the RX-78 (Hi-Nu engineering).

An odd thought occurred to me. I said earlier that it would be nice if all the old MG's would be ver 2.0'ed. With the announcement of that Gelgooger I kinda laughed at how much more possible it actually is :heh:

DarkWarrior 2007-03-21 18:25

I didn't expect Char's Zaku II this early.. and it looks like Bandai is including a ton of junk which somehow increases the price to 4500 yen. Seriously, a loading crane?

And the chances for a MG Destiny just got a lot lower I guess. :(

philmein 2007-03-21 18:47

Thanks for the info mangatron. It really seems nothing to worry about. If nothing is loose, then I'm cool with it. Any loose parts are what worries me most for any kits.

Anyways, I'd vote for an MG Destiny over the RX-78. For some reason it doesn't appeal to me.

Fome 2007-03-21 19:12

That's because the RX-78 isn't exactly a beautiful design, by today's standards. Rather blocky and rigid looking compared to modern designs. But it's got sentimental significance to many fans, so Bandai probably won't pass it up.

So true, so true. Sentimental significance is very important ^^.

Nightengale 2007-03-21 22:30

There's always RX-78 ver. Evolve.

dj898 2007-03-21 23:31

another possibility is MG Turn A Gundam...
if the rumour is anything to go by... -___-;;

kct 2007-03-22 00:26

WHO NO MENTION OF THE NIGHTINGALE?

Seeing that we are seeing Char and RED (the colour of 3x faster)...

silencer.001 2007-03-22 04:10

I doubt the Turn A would be the 100th MG, i, and a few others, think it might actually be the Hyakushiki, but i am not discounting yet another RX-78 gundam

J_Ridden 2007-03-22 04:12

Well I don't care about the 100th release anymore. I just hope that after that, they'll release more non-UC Gundam (at least the rest of the Shuffle Alliance's Gundam, Gundam X, Leopard and Airmaster, Turn A, etc.) or more non-Gundam MS from CE (GuAIZ, DINN, Windam, etc.).

012Zer0 2007-03-22 08:08

The 100th MG might be the Char's gelgoog 2.0 which is estimated for July. Unless something comes before that.

MakubeX2 2007-03-22 08:25

Update :-

http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/8...2410742rh1.jpg

Char's Zaku Vers 2.0 will not cost 4500 yen, but still 3500 yen. It's Char's Gel that will be 4500 yen.

Another possibiluty that is BD choose to continue it's campaign of colouring the town RED, we might have the Nightengale.....
