Already saw that. Bandai could nearly replicate that in MG's..

So, where's the cheapest place that I can get these?

MG GF13-017NJ SHINING GUNDAM
MG GF13-017NJII GOD GUNDAM
MG GF13-001NHII MASTER GUNDAM

Try your local hobby-shops. I think it’ll be cheaper there since old kits like those are often on sale or something. You don't have to worry about shipping either. I have MG God, and I bought it for more-or-less $20 at a local shop (standard price, not on sale).

Problem is that my area doesn't have hobby shops. Where I used to live.. I lived literally like 5 minutes away from Gundam Planet.

=D

Not here though. >_< So I have to do online.

Then look for various local online hobby-shops in your country. Look for a good deal. Surely GGInfinite isn’t monopolizing gunpla business in the US, right? From my experience, local online-shops is always cheaper than importing (and less hassle) unless you’re doing gunpla business too.

I don't think that GG Infinite is monopolizing the market, but they're becoming the most famous I think amongst many modelers.

duotiga 2013-06-04 10:39

In US there's another online shop call Robot4less . Price is pretty much reasonable
You ain't find hard enough , in fact I found it thru Facebook link/page
Do your homework , don't be lazy to ask people to spoon feed you for sources

Robots 4 Less is usually expensive.

Skye629 2013-06-04 20:14

Hobbywave (note I didnt check the stock, thats the buyers job, im just recommending)

The flat shipping might save u some cash too

suiton629 2013-06-05 10:51

Well, I ended up deciding to get only:

MG GF13-017NJ SHINING GUNDAM
MG GF13-017NJII GOD GUNDAM

Which I think is more than enough for the G Gundam line. I managed to find it being sold by a seller on eBay that I have on my favorite seller list, and he sold it to me at $50 total (including shipping price) brand new. =P

Now I just have to wait for those as well as late July/early August when I should be receiving from GG Infinite:

MG GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam RM Ver.
MG GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam RM Ver.
MG GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam RM Ver.
MG GAT-X105+AQM/E-X01 Aile Strike Gundam RM Ver.
MG AGE-2DB Gundam AGE-2 Double Bullet
Action Base 1 (Black)
MG Launcher/Sword Striker Pack RM Ver. (online exclusive)

:)

MUHAHAHAHAHA

Now there's nothing (MG GunPla wise) that I want. Well at least til kits from my wish list are released.

Skye629 2013-06-07 00:35

Im thinking of getting a 1/100 NG to give a somewhat custom color scheme to (Or some minor color changes based on the mech)

I know the 1/100 NG 00 kits and HG 1/100 EW kits are pretty nice (00 for overall and EW for sculpt and details)

Already have these 1/100 NG/HGs
-Tallgeese 3
-Vent Saviour
-Red Frame

I was thinking about maybe the 1/100 Overflag, change the white to silver and add some other silver apps where I feel it will look good

Or maybe the 1/100 NG 00 Gundam, then practice masking to paint on details like in the Designer color versions (the stripes and stuff)

Any suggestions?

1/100 HG Dynames gundam
1/100 HG Tieren Ground Type

Great kits!

Teiren? (I know what it is, but the kit??)

Hmmm the Astraea sounds like a potential candidate (white one)

1/100 Tieren is one of the best kits from 00 1/100 NG line. While still true to the original shape and design, it's a solid kit with superb articulation and arsenal. Heck, it even looks good and badass if you like tank-like monoeye MS.

I have to completely agree, the rough surface on the armor plates is fantastic. If only tieren wasn't so lowsy portrait in the anime it would have been even better :)

best 00 gundam kit i built, but you got to love the design

suiton629 2013-06-07 07:01

Personally, I never found the 1/100 No Grade kits to be that good. They're just HG kits with bigger parts. I would probably opt to get MG's and HG's if I were you.

You should pay attention to Skye’s post. He’s looking for cheap kits in 1/100 scale to practice painting. MGs ain’t cheaper than their NG counterparts. Just compare the price of NG Exia with MG Exia. By suggesting to buy MGs, you clearly missing the whole point of his post :eyebrow:.

He could try it on like MG's from G Gundam?

Then I would say to just get anything from Gundam 00. Generally speaking, across all grades and scales, the 00 kits have been excellent.

Minor complaints here and there but a lot of issues can be resolved with either painting and or using an Action Base. :p

Skye629 2013-06-07 15:04

I dont mind the OLD MG's, as long as they're the cheaper ones and not bad quality, EG. Zeta plus units

I would prefer NG's though, as less parts to work on and I wont feel as bad if I screw up bigtime

Checked some Teiren reviews. Holy crap that things articulation, details, and options are insane for a NG 1/100

Well then go with the MG Shining and MG God. They're MG's and they're cheap.

SD Gundam

Hi i have a very old SD Gundam. Where can I find info on who it is?? it is numbered on front from 1993. # 0041. looks like a battle chariot platform for an SD gundam

Obelisk ze Tormentor 2013-06-08 10:47

Are you talking about SD Gundam model kit? If you are, then this site might help you identify it. Search it in the SD Gundam category.

Why hasn't Bandai done a MG Dendrobium?

Hahaha you really can't be serious with this question cause the answer is pretty obvious.

But to answer your question, simple, it would be bloody massive.

Anywho I'm tempted to get Jesta and Buster but not sure if I want to hold out for the summer sales to see whats on offer or just get them two now.
I don't actually have the time atm to build anything but the need and want to get these kits is simply just there>_<

However I may pick up a couple of other injection kits while I'm at it as well.
The Shinden II and some of them Supersylph Yukikaze planes, they are pretty cool.

suiton629 2013-06-08 20:16

Keep checking HLJ, GG Infinite, etc. I'm sure they're gonna sales soon. HLJ is good since the Yen value is pretty low now.

GG is good since I buy most of the GUNPLA stuff from there and I've never had any issues even though people have complained about them.

Didn't you have some issues with GG a few months ago? You're were pretty upset, IIRC:eyebrow:

Are you really asking this question? XD

OK ATM Kshatriya is impossible due to its size

Now take a BATTLESHIP (Im talking Salamis etc. not the later larger Fed ships) sized MA with a ton of weapons

My estimate: $500 bucks at LEAST, not to mention it probably comes with a giant base, and probably cant do much aside from move the weapons/exchange them etc. And of course dock the GP-03

And where would one find a place to store this? A 1/100 model of it would be the size of a singe person bed

Alot of people would love this regardless though lol, but in all ways its quite unpractical to make for many reasons

duotiga 2013-06-09 04:50

Lucky he never mention mega size dendodrium ....
Done a few kits already just have not got the time to post it

suiton629 2013-06-09 06:12

I think Bandai needs to do MG's for these 2.

Here is a scratchbuild 1/100 Dendrobium; note the TV for scale.
