More than any other show, this one reminds me of GuP in a bit more ways, including the subscription to "almost pantyshots" angles and the militaristic bent on the show, not to mention the intro which also has shots of the opponent teams in a similar style. Unlike GuP's first ep though that started with an action teaser then went character intro all to the way to the end, C3-bu starts out PINK. VERY FLOWERY PINK, which might lead one to believe that this'll be a K-On-esque show complete with cakes and a dilapidated club looking for members. If people only watch the first half they might really get the wrong impression of it, though thankfully antics like Yurara's Rambo play staves the feeling off.

That said, they do get into action into the second half, complete with how many overt mentions of RAMBO and some nicely animated, if plain action. I was kinda impressed though at how they managed to portray (without telling) the concept of bounding overwatch really well, and like GuP the action is generally easy to follow. It does lack the powerful sound effects to completely sell the concept though, given that it's just airsoft afterall. On the other hand, DAT JAZZ. :eek:

Kinda a shame the episode ends in a cliffhanger and an unrelated scene to our last member shooting real guns in a range, but at the least I'll be watching the 2nd episode that's for sure.
