I noticed there is no AION thread. How can this be?! :confused:
AION is the next big thing since L2 and WoW imo.
It uses the crytec engine so also a MMO that doesn't look like crap.(ok if your used to L2 every MMO looks bad. D: )

Well I'm not sure on CoH/CoV, but Lineage and LineageII where grindfests+++. We can only hope for the best. Or else bots ftw? NCsoft fails at bot hunting so yah. xD

the games got excellent graphics but im a fan for Ncsoft {fav game is GW}

WOW wat a good MMO the Game has wonderful visuals and its made by Ncsoft that a double positve
and im a major fan of GW even tho its made by areana net :p

Haven't seen much of the gameplay yet. But I hope it is a lot different than other mmorpgs.

all mmos are a grindfest, but so far, most korean mmo doesnt take much effort to disguise it with contents.

might take a look if the game have a compelling pvp/rvr system.

only thing that bugs me that its pay y month in which guild wars is free :sad:

Guild Wars isn't entirely a MMORPG. This game is reasonably P2P because all other mmorpgs are. Guild Wars depended on players to buy the next chapter.

I read that this game has a unique leveling system that eliminates grinding, although that's all the information that was released about the leveling system. I have read a lot about this game, and it looks to be one of the best MMO's so far. There's only a couple things I'm worried about:

-Although it mentions you can play as either the angels or the demons, from screens and trailers it doesn't seem to be much of a difference in appearance of the two factions, if any difference at all. The demons look like the angels and vice versa. Unless it's only been showing one faction. I'm kind of hoping the demons get actual demon wings instead of feathered ones.

-Multiple races? It seems there is maybe only one race of people per faction. Or maybe just one race split between two factions. After playing WoW and LoTRO, going down to one race would be a letdown :(

-No mentions were made of crafting professions. Is there going to be professions? If so, How is the system going to work?

Being NCSoft I'm pretty confident it will be fairly focused on PVP.

That sucks. I hear closed beta in Korea is going on now and instead of Beta in US/EU they are just having conventions to show the game off :O

The very letters MMO alone are enough to cause kittens to start stabbing themselves in the eyes with rusty bread knives. Every MMO is the same until proven otherwise.

NCSoft just announced that Aion is now going into open beta. Koreans only, sadly.

Been keeping an eye on this game since it was announced. Just stopped playing Lineage 2, so I'm looking for another game. :>

Yea i haven't played GW since summer :(
Waiting for GW2 or this game :D
