K-On! Houkago Live!! (PSP/PS3 port game)
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...sc/kongame.jpg
This thread is intended to discuss the PSP game K-On! Houkago Live!!, due for release on the 30th of September 2010. Published by Sega (who have already released the likes of Project Diva for the PlayStation Portable), this game seems set to put the girls of HTT in your pocket! Not literally, but you get the idea... Aside from a rhythm game involving musical performances (either in the light music club room, on stage, or elsewhere) there's a social side of the game involving chibi versions of each character; as seen in the alternate home page: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...c/kongame2.jpg There are plenty of costume options on the cards; Sawa-chan herself seems to gives you the thumbs-up if you come up with a design she likes! How well the game will work is still to be seen; even so, for those looking to continue the HTT fun after season 2 comes to a close, it might be an interesting option. Oh, and for those of you who haven't already seen it, this video gives an idea of what the game is all about: |
Hm... Is anybody planning on actually buying the game?

Looking very much forward to it though (actually brought the topic up in the merchandise thread). |
I'm gonna get it some how when it comes out, just to play around with.
When i heard of a K-on game i thought it would be like Sonic Adventure but with the K-on girls. DREAMCAST GAMES FOR LIFE. |
I'm gonna get it when it's released in Singapore! =]
|
I MUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTT HAAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEE ITTTTTTTTT!
I mean really! I just hope they'll release it in English after Japanese...'cus man...it's they won't....I'll make the whole K-ON!! world rebel against Sega. EDIT: Did anyone see Go Go Maniac's gaming play in the video...it was wicked! I wanna buy it the more! |
I've had this on pre-order since it was announced, really can't wait for it to get to me at some point during October! ^_^
|
Hm... I might be more sold if it was for Rock Band or something, though K-ON won't be that big xD
Anyone know if the songs are playable on Drum Mania/other games in arcades? Just out of curiosity... |
Wonder if it'll have some sort of extra toy in the limited edition box?
|
What it needs is a fan edit make that allows you to change the girls' clothing - inclusive of spiked underwear, micro bikinis and birthday su- *gets a guitar rammed into his mouth* :D
|
I'd love that also, but the only costume changes we're getting here are the official ones.
Wonder if we can nude theme like in the bath scene though with smoke censors. :heh: |

Ikkitousen psp game had nudity...well on the manual, but I guess this won't sadly. lol :heh: Possible new DL costumes from the site? The older Mio? But seriously if I ever get this game I can't wait to play with it with some of my friends that "MIGHT" get it. |
I really hope No Thank You is one of the songs and we get the delinquent uniforms, they look so cool! Also, No Thank You is an awesome song.
|
I like the 5 player co-op aspect. It sounds like it would be fun to play with other people :P
The other thing is how many songs will be included. If it's anything like Project Diva then I'm interested :) |

well i was glad they released pokemon in english lol. i still have my red/blue version |
I think you'd have to be incredibly lucky to get an English version of this sadly, luckily it's a music game so even if you don't have a basic/advanced knowledge of Japanese you should be able to play it just fine!
I'm really looking forward to seeing all the songs, I really hope they have Go Go Maniac and No Thank You as the full versions of both of them are amazing. |
