No one died.

Had to leave it to the Americans to save the day.

Never got any real insight on why red-hair did what he did, other than him petulantly throwing a knife at a map of Japan.

Never got an explanation why the Soviet Union feels it needs to assassinate Yui.

Yup, great ending.

The anime is just a promo for a game for the most part. Want to know more - buy the game :heh:

Well, considering that the last few episodes have been anime-original, I doubt those things will be explained in the V/N..

Very interesting final episode.
Lots of tension and abundance of action.
I felt sorry for Inia and Cryska.
Takamura leaving, Yuuya feeling down..
I still can't decide if this anime was about fighting Beta or personal dramas.

Both, really. One of the central themes of the Muv-Luv series in general is, "Even though shit's gone to hell, humans can still be humans."

Well great, after all that massacring and big deal on the terrorist group, everyone else self-destructs and that one "tough" guy gets killed in a second like a mob.
Great.

And the entire episode is spent on the two sisters going berserk......
Only to be brought back to their senses with the power of love.

I can't remember the last time I sighed in relief, but I did here, during the hospital scene. Haha. I was all "Aww, Miku.cn, let her complain, she can complain all she wants, you BOTH SURVIVED x__x and I'm just so happy!"

Though everyone making it out of the confrontation with the twins was a bit weird. Then again, Inia still looks creepy to me. I don't care how she acts normally, she's damn scary.

The ending- didn't see that coming. I thought it was going to be about assassinating Yui and Cryska was just casually committing treason...
But then, BAM "Rivals in love" - the heck?
I'm hoping it can be twisted in such a way that Cryska actually said something about the above and creepy!Inia and the whole Scarlet Twins Berserker Mode-Yuuya connection and Yui, in a theatrical, cheesy moment decided to name that "Rivals in love". Yes. It could work. :heh:

Leon and Sharon are still awesome. They should have their own show.

Overall, this was very enjoyable, it had it's ups and downs- I could do completely without the harem and romance/ beach and barbecues aspect of it, but it can generously be overlooked. At least they can be credited for not having every girl be a love interest (Chobi and Stella weren't).
If it was a bit tighter with the sillier episodes cut out, this show would've been damn near perfect, but it was still great anyways.
I'm sold. Show me more.

That was great as a stand-alone episode, but as the ending..? Not so much. It felt like a cliffhanger with Yui leaving for Japan.

But yay, everyone lives (especially Cui! <3)! I don't I'd ever get to say that about a Muv Luv show..

See, now that's how you use the Berkut, Scarface. Some veteran you were. But hey, at least the Berkut was redeemed when the Scarlet Twins were kicking BETA ass in it.

People said that was supposed to be an anime-original ending, however, I feel that while some things were changed and/or added, it was still similar in some aspects to the point where the novels have stopped at.

So, what are the chances that we'll get another season that'll follow the events of the V/N starting from where this season left of at?

Anyways , it was a good run , fake blood(?) on the Shiranui and I thought Yuuya was dead.Lol.
