Mikakunin de Shinkoukei (Engaged to the Unidentified)
Confirmed to be a TV anime and official site is up: http://mikakunin.jp/
Here's the synopsis from ANN: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...nga-gets-anime The comedy revolves around Kobeni Yonomori, who on her 16th birthday suddenly has a young man with little presence named Hakuya Mitsumine and his younger sister Mashiro appear in front of her. It turns out that Hakuya is her fiancé, and Mashiro is her future sister-in-law. The three (and Konbeni's older sister Benio) start living together underneath the same roof, and hilarious happenings occur. It's always nice to see another 4-koma adapted into an anime. |

ANN article:
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...iewed-in-video Studio is confirmed to be Dogakobo Director: Yoshiyuki Fujiwara(GJ-bu) Series Composition: Fumihiko Shimo(Air, Clannad, Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu?!, Golden Time) |
Hmm... well, it could be promising. Personal hope is that it doesn't devolve into lots of fanservice but gets kinda serious subject matter wise.
|
Interesting, it's the opposite of the usual scenario.
|
Good news, Moon Phase lists it under Winter 2014.
|
Premieres 01/09 21:30 on AT-X.
http://mikakunin.jp/news_2013_1122_2.html It is a full-length anime too. |
Hmm.... well, I will at least give it a try. ^^
|
Dogakobo again, huh? GJ-bu's director? That animation?
I'm interested, if nothing else. |
Don't know why the previous video posted are all private, but here's PV1:
and something to show off some brilliant animation |
Both videos were posted but they were deleted from YouTube
|
Well, guess it's good that I found them from "possibly" the official source then, so now other people can watch it :P
|
This one doesn't seem to be getting a whole lot of attention in the upcoming season. Hmm. Well, I added the Winter 2014 tag on the front of the thread, so that may help some.
|
The fact that famous seiyuu are not really attached is probably not getting enough attention, not to mention the manga is practically not a well-known one. I am REALLY looking forward to it though. It is described as a slice of life so I hope it is a good material without too much pandering. To believe this one has been under the radar until today, gotta be watchful. I hope this one does well even when there are some heavyweights in the same season.
The author behind this anime also wrote Kimi To Boku, and it seems like her material is more fluffy sort of manga so looking more forward to this anime. I must apologise but this author wrote different title not Kimi To Boku. But all her manga seems still fluffy stuff. |
Yessireebob - I, for one, welcome the arrival of more "fuafua" content. ^^
But still, the author of Kimi to Boku, eh? Hmm... didn't know that.... Well, all the more curious now. :) |
Wow, it looks so lively! I'll be be sure to check it out- hoping for some fun and laughter.
|
Character chemistry can make or break this one. But the staff (particularly in series composition) is not that promising... I'll give it a try though, because the setup has potential.
|
PV2 is out.
|
Dynamic tag cannot be rendered.
