I'm not sure what I think of Klim right now. On one side, I dislike his personality but another side, I respect his skills as a fighter and pilot.

I think he's hilarious. Huge ego but not exactly a bad guy and definitely knows what he's talking about. Too bad he keeps getting his ass kicked by Dellensen. :heh:

Next ep should be good - first appearance of The Mask!:D

Probably the best episode so far I think. No character did something that I thought was completely random. Characters made sense :).

Good episode overall. Nice action, and curious to see where things go from here.

Christ, I'm still finding it difficult to get used to the frantic 80s style of (non) pacing...

Also, how does that keycard stay on that chain/string? There's a gap between the "wings" that should let it slip right back out...

BoyTitan 2014-10-17 00:35

Better episode enjoyed it more than build fighters this week. Hopefully it improves from here. Everything is making sense now.

The dog and pony show made sense now that it is being conveyed to the audience better.

So we have a Tech taboo similar to Gundam Age. The G-Self and G-Arcane was based from the blue prints of the same designer.

So it is more than just a conflict about energy and influence. There is a vague threat from space.

Irenesharda 2014-10-17 01:37

So...is it going to be that every other episode is the strong ones? :heh:

This episode was much better than last week's as we begin to find out what's going on with the pirate crew who I've taken a real liking too. We also learn that there's actually a mystery involving G-Self and Rarayia as neither of the two came from the pirates but actually literally fell from space! :twitch: Okay, so no one knows where it came from or why it can only answer to Bellri or Aida. Well, that will be a good mystery to solve throughout the progression of the story.

There seems to be unrest between the Capital Guard, the Research team, and the capital army. I don't know what that's all about but it doesn't seem to be good. :(

There was a great fight this time and I love what the G-Self can do so far. It seems to have a mind of its own as well, since it seems to be using weapons without Bellri asking. I just love Klim Nick, he is so awesome. That part with the potato and how he answered Raraiya regarding his eyes was hilarious and just great all at the same time. He is by far, my favorite in this whole thing. So arrogant, and yet charming.

Bellri had to end up fighting against his teacher this time. I thought it was kind of clever that this time they made it so communication has to come from touch contact. So, I'm guessing Bellri's going to be staying with the pirates from now on so far, and Aida has stated herself to be from Ameria too. This will be interesting to see what happens next as it looks like we have another battle next episode.

Also...I don't want to misuse this term, but does Raraiya seem kind of...special? :uhoh: I don't know if that was what they were going for with her character, but she seems to have a lot of the signs, that's all...

And nice try guys...but there's only ONE potato girl, and Raraiya isn't her.:heh:

Interesting episode, much better than the previous two

The MS action was great too, and next week it seems we are going to be getting even more

FINALLY someone comments on arming prisoners lol (and ends up doing it anyways too.....)

Starting to feel much better, lets hope the series keep it up

Klim's personality makes a lot of sense when you think about it. He's the son the Amerian president and so therefore kind of the face of Ameria. Ameria is basically future America, and Westerners, and especially Americans, have a huge stereotype of being arrogant rebels and Klim is right in line with that. :p

This episode probably has the best structure so far, but the script is still just as terrible.

Benigmatica 2014-10-17 10:01

Something tells me that Bellri is getting those Newtype powers via SU-Cord... Seriously, this needs some explanation! Regardless, I feel that they'll won't be coming back to the Capital Tower now that Bellri and Noredo will be branded as an enemy.

If you can't stand Tomino's weird script, well this show ain't for you. Patience is needed...

Wow sure got quite around these parts. This is easily the least active I can ever remember a Gundam forum thread pretty much anywhere. Hell even AGE had more buzz than G-Reco. :uhoh:

Don't think its Newtype powers. Just the G-Self reacting to him as usual.

Him yelling "SU Cord!" is like his battle cry since he did the same in ep 1. Like Harry Ord's "Universe!"

Mikethemaster 2014-10-17 14:38

This episode was good too, a little whacky but with this gundam series it something you be used to by now if your four episode in like me. I guess Aida loved Cahill because she keep on crying over the man, by the end i guess she forgiven Bellri to a extent. Klim is fun to watch and Monday still her awkward self but she learning to do normal speech again. I guess the writers might Klim x Monday and i am just guessing. the battle was fun to watch. I still can't remember half the characters name hopefully they can make more of a impact down the line.

How was Gundam Age a tech taboo?

Looks like I was wrong about Capital Captain biting the dust this episode.

Masked dude(Luin?) already, wtf? (Finger beams, really? Paying homage to Char?)

Prior to the main series' beginnings, the world agreed cut back on weapons development and ultimately stop widescale war entirely. All of the weapon blueprints were preserved in various EXA-DBs protected by SIDs. From there, humanity within the Earth Sphere rarely used weapons, and when they did, they were nothing compared to what was found in the EXA-DBs, something the Vagans quickly capitalized on.

Wandering Soul 2014-10-17 15:25

Best episode so far imo.

So far Klim looks like he can be entertaining but if his arrogance is overdone it can become real annoying. So it looks like from now Belri and the others are going to have to adjust to life with the pirates.

wm4 2014-10-17 15:47

Note that Raraiya's comment to Klim's eyes is a direct reference to Ramba Ral's
similar quote to Amuro Ray.
