Eiyuu Kyoushitsu (Classroom For Heroes)

Light novel series Eiyuu Kyoushitsu (Class Room For Heroes) is getting an anime adaptation.

Synopsis

Long ago, a powerful demon lord ruled over the people until an equally powerful hero rose up to defeat him. To counter future threats, Rosewood Academy, a school for heroes-in-training, was created. Today, Rosewood Academy enrolls only the best of the best, and Arnest Flaming is the best of them all. The top student in the school, a dutiful girl nicknamed "Empress of Flame," she has an irritating encounter with a light-hearted boy in the school hallway one day who seems to equal her powers, though she's never seen him before. He introduces himself only as Blade, and Arnest soon finds out not only is he transferring into the school as a new student, but she is personally requested by the King to help him settle in to daily life in Rosewood Academy.

Looks like Rakudai rip-off for me. With only difference that everyone consider MC OP from the get go.

If that means the main relationship is on par with Ikki and Stella...

You are definitely not alone in that :heh:.

I am concerned that it is Actas. They have a tendency to not handle TV series graphic well. And it may affect GuP and PP movies schedule.

It's a classic story...Legendary Hero battles the Demon King and sacrifices himself in the process. But what happens when the Legendary Hero comes back and goes to school to make friends :eyespin:?

Blade reminds me of Shiki from Edens Zero where he's so insistent on making friends. I'm actually amazed he managed to snag four friends right off the bat, but you have to appreciate his dorky earnestness if nothing else. Speaking of earnest, we've got Earnest Flaming, our resident, redheaded, tsundere-ish bombshell of a Main Heroine who is not here for Blade's antics ;).

So Rikiya Koyama as the King as the school headmaster? And he knows exactly who Blade is, and wants to prepare him as the Legendary Hero once more in a school full of them. Blade has no real interest in doing so, but I wonder if the Demon King will revive too :eyebrow:?

This Classroom of Heroes has quite the quirky cast of characters, but Sophie seems like our resident cute kuudere. I like her skintight leather leotard look and how she fights with her fists :nod:.

So Blade fights with a dragon style which can decimate most normal swords like it decimates a wall and Earnest's clothes :p.

Earnest rolling around in bed in her underwear in happiness over becoming Blade's friend is adorable. Less adorable is her demon sword voiced by Tetsu Inada haunting her :eek:.

I like how Earnest had her cleavage and panties in full view of Blade in the infirmary but she didn't freak out and hit him once. That's kind of amazing :twitch:.

So there's a secret lab or academy computer at Blade's purview? How convenient, minus all the robots Blade had to destroy to get to it, of course ;).

I love how Earnest had to fight Asmodeus in the spirit world of the sword while buck-naked...and then ends up buck-naked in Blade's arms after she manages to forge a pact with Asmodeus. And she doesn't seem to mind one bit :naughty:.

Earnest has a new, positive, lease on life and is so free she's even wearing her hair down! She looks great! And Blade is nothing but happy for her :smile:.

Gotta say, I dig the MC's positive energy to it all. :D Yeah, it's a bit silly, but at least he can step up when its necessary.

That was cute. Honestly I thought the fight at the start was going to be some dream sequence since it was kind of played out a bit overly on the dramatic side. I suppose it's fair to try and drag Blade along to become a hero again. After all if he's clearly standing here alive then there's no reason to think the Demon Lord is going to stay dead either.

Earnest is cute and I like the backstory there. Didn't actually have the flaming red hair to start, but picked it up through connecting to that sword. It's nice that she got some great support. She could definitely manage to make the contract work, but she couldn't go for it while being afraid of what would happen while she tried. And if she did go for it while worried like that she probably would have failed.

I kind of hope he'll ease up on the crazy goofy side. Even if he wants to make friends I'm not sure he has to be that silly to make it happen. He had good moments with Earnest when being relatively serious after all.

Seems like a solid enough show.

this was nice, but this should be named "the reincarnated hero wants to live an ordinary life and make 100 friends!"

Kinda generic but might be worth giving a few episodes. Is Monokuma hero the love child between the former hero/maou? Not sure where the hair came from.

The overall presentation is really good, especially for the type of show it seems to want to be.

I felt it generic and not in the harmless sense but the "I feel I have seen this before a lot of times" sense. Not interesting enough to care and not so shameless generic that circles again to be fun. Also I'm not a fan of this type of MCs.
