Anime suggestions 2008-2010
 

Im looking for anime suggestions that have finished airing at least one season between 2008 and 2010.

The kind im looking for is action,fantasy with a bit of romance or drama preferably. Comedy is welcomed too but not the silly -slash- nearing stupid kind that are usually present in some echhi animes.

Some of my favorite series are Full metal panic, Fate Stay Night, Black Lagoon and Kenichi.

Pandora Hearts - Action, Fantasy, Drama (2009)
Spice and Wolf - Fantasy, Drama (2008)
Soul Eater - Action, Fantasy (2008)

Natsume Youjinchuu - Fantasy, Spiritual
Natso no Arashi (S1) - - Comedy, Fantasy, Romance

Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari - just one more episode left to be fansubbed (has been released monthly for a year). I'd heard nothing about this anime until I randomly came across it... definitely worth a look. The protagonist is hilariously competent, good at anything and everything he does (from fighting to orgasm-inducing back rubs)

Chrome Shelled Regios and Spice & Wolf are already in my to watch list =D

Ill check on Pandora Hearts.

Already seen Natsume Youjinchuu and Natsu no Arashi seems more like a slice of life / romance (ah my godess) than an action,fantasy genre im looking for...

Three recent ones come to my mind on this genre:
Canaan - Action, Sci Fi, Mystery, Drama (2009)
Darker than Black: Ryuusei no Gemini - Action, Drama, Sci Fi (2009)
Katanagatari - Fantasy, Adventure with some romance and comedy (2010)

^ Darker than Black is nice but I think it's a must to watch the 1st season....

Guin Saga << epic-style fantasy with some twisted romance

Tears to Tiara << RPG-like fantasy

Phantom << no fantasy but have gun actions

Give the Summer Wars movie a try. It's very entertaining, especially if you have any interest in online worlds. It also has a cute romance.

Despite the summary from ANN is as confusing as ever and it doesnt seem to be fantasy / action genre , i'll give it a try... the art work seems nice.. Thanks

This series kind of reminded me of Serei no Moribito and Tears to Tiara, both art and story wise. And i found them all kind of boring to watch... i know they fall under the genres im looking for but somehow the plot, dialogues and character developments are too plain and predictable.
