I've never played Kingdom Hearts so I wouldn't be able to tell. The main flaw I've found is that there are often too many enemies and it makes it hard to keep up with what's going on on the screen.

It bothers me so much that they didn't make Norman grow up. Granted, the timeskip was six months shorter in the anime. His grown up design was one of the few good things the manga did at that point.
