Would hope so. This arc ends at Tale 25, I'm not sure they'll even make it to that let alone the arc after it. The manga is currently into it's 60's of Tales and still ongoing.

Kind of disappointing we'll still have to hope for another season for the story to be completed. But who knows how much more Peach-Pit have up their sleeve for the manga...

The first season was not a faithful manga adaption. It may have not strayed as much as the second season did, but there were certainly significant differences.
