Also there's multithreading in CCCP's ffdshow since the 2009-09-09 release (CCCP settings, 1st page, check the "mt" box), which gives quite a speed boost on multi-core CPUs....

Now i get what you mean. That is greyed out in MPC because CCCP doesn't use MPC-HC's internal subtitle renderer for various reasons....

The real question is why you would want 1920x1080 on a screen with a resolution barely above 720p.
