pain can't be killed if he leaves. the longer he stays the more he risks losing. even if they know his secret, with the biju weapon he can destroy konoha.

Nope. Jiraiya had trouble hitting pein before getting stabbed w/the rod. when kakashi missed and hit the wall the rod was still in his shoulder....
