I know you don't want teenage kiddies in love but if you loved GTO and RomComs in general, you'd be doing yourself a disfavor by not checking out Lovely Complex. It's the goddess of RomCom's IMO.

Finished Nodame Paris and Finale 8/10 and 7/10 respectively. They were okay but it just kind of dragged and didn't end with a bang as I would have hoped.

I third Rec. The plot is pretty much the "reverse" of most romance animes...heh.
