Is there such program that is capable of coverting .avi (any fansub formate) to mpg(VCD) or DVD formate with out increasing the file size?

I want to burn them to cd/dvd for couple...

I remember last time I came here There were no programs that were able to cover .rmvb to .avi files.

The alltoavi was very helpfully, It is the best program that i have ever used....

I just got a portable media player with 4.2" wide screen that is capable of playing .avi, dvix, xvid, files with resolution of 720x480 at 30fps.

The anime files plays fine I can see the subs...
