Anyway, I found the novel now (I just had to type N.H.K. instead of NHK :P ) and so far I'm really impressed. It seems to be even more melancholic than the series.

I'm quite happy to see there are still some other NHK fans out there. It seems to me like the anime almost vanished. No DVDs for europe, not even much...
