If you still use vdub to filter, please quit fansubbing now cause you fail at it... Learn to use AVS, Megui, x264, etc

yes, now lets start putting the SHA1 hash in the filenames too...

a hash collision on CRC doesn't matter for fansubs at all... only when the 2 releases are from the same group and the same episode...

just tried CoreAVC's codec... it works on BSplayer, but VERY bad.. the image is shrunk and colours are messed up.
Then i tried it in WMP and it played fine o.O

I hope they'll improve...

Just bout every H.264 hardware player wich supports high profile video will be able to play our encodes :P (and is Mpeg-4 compliant)
Also, owners of ATI Radeon X1000+ series will be able to decode...

Lunar released Bleach in H.264 too... just too bad its in MKV and not MP4 (personal preference ;) ) and they made it 170 MB... im quite sure that 140 MB with the right settings woud be more that...

Using VLC's PP on H.264 causes annoying macroblocks on totally random times and occasions.
Any postprocessing does, even FFDshow's does :P

Not using any filters (besides textsub) in an encode is stupid, encoding always adds noise. Filtering good also adds to better compression (or worse if you didnt use right filters) and usually better...
