The slapstick almost seems symbolic. Like Chiaki get's to emotional and overpowers Nodame's will. I'm only up to 12 atm. Hope to finish it off soon. Glad I stumbled upon it (understated).

I thought the first 50 or so episodes were well paced (atleast that's the way I remember it). The 2nd season seemed to stretch the material out a bit..me thinks they were running through manga...
