If you have the skills to create a GUI, but your lazyness prevents you from doing so, it means it's a pointless/unneeded feature.

This is the reason most open source software can avoid bloat. :)

I'm not sure about what's wrong in rev13/rev14. Probably some regression in mplayer(1).
