i was tempted to give it a 1/10 but Fujiwara Keiji at least got his game on, unlike Okamoto Nobuhiko and Hidaka Rina in this ep.

And mind you i've already seen railgun. it's just way better...

Fujiwara Keiji's splendid VA work could not even save this episode from the doldrums, coinciding with the lack of Mikoto screentime. I guess I'm the only one who did not like how the episode panned...

2003 had to be the best year in anime in a long while. Winter 2003 had Wolf's Rain, YKK OVA and Ashita no Nadja in it. Autumn 2003 meanwhile had Gungrave, Mermaid's Forest and Gilgamesh among others....

that was horrible. forced drama on Kyouko's backstory, and Hitomi's sudden revelation was all so sudden. It really is all downhill since episode 5 from a storytelling standpoint.
