Differences Between Manga and Anime?

Hey i've always wondered if their are any differences between the manga and the anime. I'm wondering will i learn anything new if i read the anime or will i just get another retelling of the same...

Mendoi hasnt announced anthing in teh last 4 weeks on any of thier projects the forum hasnt even been moderated and anime-himitsu (sp?) are on 11 and are having problems finding staff

Question Romance but with out an annoying male lead

Hey any recomendations for romance without a either perverted or geeky male lead so just a normal guy or even a guy popular at school i dont think ive ever found one.
