Timeline: Lyrical Nanoka
Despite her inferiority complex, she has been identified to be a mage of incredible potential: She's flight-capable, has good psionic projection and her shields and boosts are top notch. However, she can barely bring herself to hurt a fly... As such, her mage rank is stuck at B+ despite her squad's efforts to coax her out of it. Like her Wind Squad Leader Nakajima, Nanoka absolutely worships the ground Nanoha walks on, but is afraid to admit it. Longs to be able to control her pure magics so that she can hug her sister once again without them attack her sister, who's magic is innately shadow.
Her best friend Teresa Testarossa is disturbed by her introvertedness, and would try means and ways to put her into trying situations to train her confidence. Still, both girls look out for each other's backs.
The male half of the Hallaoun twins is attracted to her, but she doesn't have a clue.
Armanent: At first, she uses Pluma Holi (Feather of the Holy Tree), a round buckler built by her father, who has gone missing for 5 years now, that can transform into a bow. It's a rather primitive device, built after her father found a rune-skittered feather out at Mid-Childa. As such it is unable to take the strain of heavy attack spells, and Nanoka's only such spell is the awesome Starlight Breaker. However, as the device is severely damaged after each use, Nanoka only uses the Starlight Breaker when absolutely necessary. Interestingly, a Barrier Jacket was never built into Pluma Holi; instead theres a data slot that allows hot swopping of armors, as the clan that Nanoka belongs to uses 3 types of Barrier Jackets for battle, playing host and rituals. That's where Hayate goes wild with her, after she discovered that Nanoka's Barrier Jacket can be changed so easily...
Later, when Pluma Holi is thrashed up from firing SB 3 times in a row while she's trying to protect her friends, with the last one backfiring but doing the job, Chario and Kha salvages and upgrades the device with Raising Heart's and Schwertkreuz's data to get Pluma Sancti (Holy Feather), which is now able to take the strain of Starlight Breaker. She has yet to overcome her disorder, but at the end of the 1st season she finds her reason to fight as a mage, and is able to stand up to the challenge when it comes to it. This proved crucial in awakening the true person inside Arrancar, when Nanoka had to fire the Starlight Breaker to break Arrancar’s force field.
Timeline: Nanoka S.U.
Now aged 13, Nanoka has begun to blossom, and since she’s often seen in
mikofuku, she and her twin sister is often swamped with love letters and unnamed gifts. She has also become a capable mage of the
First

Team, or
FRONT, Wind Squad and is tasked to be the first line of defense in case of any Lost Logia incident. As long as she has to protect her friends, Nanoka will fight.
She also created her Unison Device,
Hououji Fuu, Magic Knight of the Lifewind Swallow, using the Shikigami technique of her Eta bloodline and a doll from a game called
Angelic Layer. Once again, she and her twin’s Shikigami differ as night and day: Naruka’s Unison Device is
Epic Spirit Enma Ai, the much-feared
Conduit of Vengeance.
Life has been peaceful for the past 5 years.
However, peace doesn’t last forever. A nearby factory exploded, and the FRONT is activated. They find a traumatized Claire-Marie Eugenie “Arrancar” Kluize and a boy who suffers from widespread Multiple Sclerosis, and whisk them to safety. However, they are soon attacked by robots known as Assaultocons, and all bear the mark of Feiwang. The Wind Squad put up a brave fight to keep the two safe, and succeed, but not without Teana’s intervention. Subaru was severely injured from protecting her team, and the rest were badly beaten. Nanoka did her best, but she was powerless to prevent the tragedy, and she mulled over it, even deciding to pursue the Paladin specialization of her divine bloodline. But without a melee device, her sister-elders were against Nanoka becoming a Paladin.
And so, while returning from school, she stumbles into a mysterious lady’s shop. The gypsy, one
Ichihara Yuuko, says she can grant Nanoka any wish, if she can afford it. Nanoka requests that she could become a paladin so that she could protect her friends from this new enemy, and that she’s willing to pay any price. Yuuko gives her an Armed Device, the
Clowhammer, and asks for her
Safe Journey Circlet, one that her father had made for both twins that served as wards against daemons after their innate and massive mana stores. Nanoka hesitates, but gives up her circlet. With a hand-to-hand weapon, Nanoka returns, and her sister-elders decide that she is ready to train as an Old-Childa Paladin.
Meanwhile, a warpstorm engulfs the 97th, and all timeships are grounded until it blows over, cutting off further reinforcements. Admiral Fate and Grand Marshal Kha are awaiting clearance outside storm range with their carrier groups as they’ve been assigned to the 97th, just out of reach of the FRONTsmen. Can Subaru and Teana, with their new allies, survive and get the word out, that Feiwang is still alive and attacking the 97th again?
