Not much is known about Vic. It's said he's a survivor from an unknown war 30 years ago where his city was destroyed.
From there on, he trained everyday with a rifle to defend himself and in time he became a expert in marksmanship.
He was eventually picked up by a roaming mercenary group, called “Liberty”, consisting of survivors from the war. They continued his training, considering him a valued member of the group.
After several years they got in contact with TSAB, wanting aid in some kind of battle. The group responded and helped TSAB.
Afterwards, they were offered permament positions in TSAB, ranging from desk work to field trainers.
Vic was chosen into the Intelligence department, where they used his skills and knowledge to infiltrate and provide information.
To this day he's still working there, occasionally being called out for special missions.
Vic is one of those who just love to help people, whether it be in combat or on his free-time. He is kind, calm and collected, always thinking before acting. When not in battle he enjoys reading books, fishing or some other calm activity. He also enjoys astronomy, often staying up late to watch the stars.
He sometimes brings Vivio with him during his astronomy watching.
Though he might seem very shy, that isn't usually the case. In a conversation, he doesn't say more than is asked of him, making him quiet until someone asks him or inquire something. This has given him the nickname "Silence", by his friends.
He has worked together with Captain Nanoha Takamachi and Investigator Fate T. Harlaown in several missions, providing fire support.
He is also good friends with them and is often seen playing around with Vivio, much to her delight. Investigator Fate T. Harlaown is also his superior.
His two closest friends are from his days as a mercenary: Adrian Macmillan and Takumaru "Doc" Ikita. They did numerous of missions together and can be seen having conversations now and then.
The reason Vic is only rank AA, is because of his limited combat use. Not every combat situation involves long range fighting, therefore making his combat abilities rarely needed.
In combat, Vic is considered to be kind of special. At the same time as he's mostly used for intelligence gathering and spy activities, he's also considered a special type of assassin. Since he's a long range fighter, he chooses his targets while they are fighting against the other mages, providing clear shots at officers due to the confusion the battle provides.
He usually operates solo during spy activities but also sometimes during combat if a specific target needs to be taken down. He also has a reputation of only requiring one shot for each target.
Consists of a camouflaged military vest, skin gloves, camouflaged military pants and military boots. With little armor, this simple and light design focuses on heightening Vics agility considerably, enabling him to run fast and dodge with ease.
Barret has the shape and function of a very small telescope when not in combat. It's an extreme long range shooting type of device, nothing can stand against it when it comes to power of range.
It has a cartridge system on the upside of the barrel but it's only capable of being reloaded one by one. He refers to Vic as "Sergeant".
Kurzwaffe Mode (Handgun mode): A type of defensive mode. Only usable at close range, this mode is for when discovered or captured, enabling Vic to defend himself. Has the form of a handgun armored with silver plates all around to form shields around the hands holding it.
Scharfschütze Mode (Sniper mode): Considered a standard mode by both Barret and Vic, this mode is for medium to long range. Taking the form of a bigger version of the non-combat mode, it also has 2 extra telescopes on the sides serving as magnifications.
Hyperion Scharfschütze Mode (Hyper Sniper mode): This mode is only usable and most effective at extreme range, to the limit that the target can't be seen. It's similar to the Sniper mode with the exception of a longer barrel, 1 extra telescope and small optical glasses hovering around the barrel adding power and accuracy.
Calm and collected, Vic picks his targets with care and patience. If given a target, he will do his best to take it down fast, before the target knows what's happening.
Since he is a long range fighter, he prefers being in the air, several kilometers from the battlefield but he doesn't mind being on the ground either since he gets extra support for Barret, increasing accuracy.
Depending on the range to his target, the shots varies between being impossibly accurate or having enough power to penetrate the target and
be usable again directly after.
Compared to other mages, Vic doesn't have a lot of spells due to his long range fighting capability. However, the spells he does have is very powerful and specialized.
Guardian: A pretty standard shield spell, capable of blocking most attacks.
Stealth: A very unusual spell, only known to Vic. If in danger of being captured or discovered he can activate this to achieve invisibility for a limited amount of time enabling him to hide or escape.
However, attacking or moving too fast makes Stealth break.
Scharfschütze Shot (Sniper Shot): Easily recognizable due to it's shape, this spell produces small sticks which shoots out of Barret at incredible speed. At the same time as being a controllable shot (linking Vics mind to the shot), it also has enough power to penetrate its target and be usable directly after, enabling it to produce hit after hit until the shot is destroyed or Vic loses control of it.
It is possible to have multiple shots in the air at the same time but since all shots have to be controlled individually, it's almost impossible to handle more than 3 shots.
This shot is also lacking in accuracy, only depending on Vics ability to decide it's trajectory.
Scharfschütze Tracker (Sniper Tracker): A very unique spell. When Vic has decided his target he often uses this to make the target a different color than the rest, increasing its visibility.
This is not visible to anyone except him.
Hyperion Shot: In contrast to Sniper Shot, this spell has almost perfect accuracy instead of power. It is, in short terms, very hard to avoid, though it can be blocked easily. All the shots produced by this spell is manually locked to a target and it then chases the target until the shot hits.
Since it's lacking in power, it's best to fire one shot after another to hit the target several times.
It has the same shape as Sniper Shot but it's max range is unknown and its speed make it almost impossible to see. It has been known to fire from extremely long range.
Hyperion Scharfschütze Shot (Hyperion Sniper Shot): An extremely powerful and risky spell.
This combines the power and accuracy of the 2 spells, forming an insanely powerful and accurate shot, very hard to either avoid or block.
But this kind of attack comes with a price. It consumes all the energy of both Vic and Barret, making them both unable to move after the attack, for several hours.

Takamaru Ikita is one of the founders of the organization “Liberty”. During the war, he helped people through hard times with the help of his team and saved hundreds of victims. He was also the one who decided to recruit Vic and Macmillan to the organization.
Within a couple of years he got in contact with TSAB, who were requesting aid for some mages of theirs. “Liberty” arrived at the scene and tended to the injured mages and afterwards got offered positions in TSAB. Most of them accepted this offer and to Ikita this meant a high responsibility job at the local hospital and Medical department, much to his liking.
Kind and warmhearted, he is similar to Vic in terms of kindness. He usually helps out in the hospital as much as he can since he wants to help people and heal their injuries. He has also proven to be a good psychologist, thanks to his ability to make people feel at ease and tell him what’s on their mind.
In battle he often rushes to the injured as fast as he can to help. If he is too late or the injuries are too hard for him, he usually gets depressed and blames himself for what happens afterwards. This has lead to difficult situations were he isn’t able to heal properly and that just adds to the problem.
His superior is Shamal, a Wolkenritter, too whom he is very loyal. They often work together at the hospital and on missions, supporting each other.
His two closest friends are from his days as a mercenary: Adrian Macmillan and Vic "Silence" Johansen. They’ve done numerous of missions together and can be seen having conversations now and then.
Support. While keeping his distance in battle, he waits for orders. If someone is injured, he heals them as quickly as he can and if the injuries are too grave he teleports away from the battlefield with the injured and places him at the nearest medic team. He then returns to the battle waiting for further instructions. He is not allowed to engage in battle, only to provide support.
White coat stopping just above his shoes. White pants, black armored shoes and fingerless gloves for increased surgical precision.
Divine is shaped as a small bracelet, silver-colored with rectangular shapes on the surface. It has no cartridge system as it’s only for support. She refers to Ikita as “Doctor”.
Active Mode: Only difference between inactive and active is that the rectangular shapes changes color from silver to blue. Active mode is used in almost every combat situation with the exception of highly dangerous or important missions.
Divine Mode: This is Divines special mode. Whenever the situation turns really bad or the mission is of the highest importance, this mode activates. It produces dual bracelets, worn on Ikitas both wrists and the rectangular shapes are bigger and shines bright red. It also increases Divines processing and healing abilities, providing extra mana and healing to Ikita.
Since Ikita isn’t a fighter he doesn’t have a combat style. He has actually never been seen in combat and he dislikes it himself.
Ikita only has support spells and no kind of defensive or offensive spell.
Teleport: Teleports himself within a range of his mana capabilities.
Mass Teleport: Teleports everyone around him to a pre-destined location. Only works if the location has been ordered beforehand.
Heal: Basic healing. Replenishes some energy to the target and heals light wounds.
Major Heal: A more powerful spell than Heal. Same function, only more powerful.
Divine Helper: A spell only usable in Divine Mode. Produces 2 copies of Ikita, linking their mana and healing capacity to him, increasing his mana and healing dramatically.

Adrian Macmillan was picked up by “Liberty” at the age of 7. His family had been killed by a murderer going by the name “Slice”. Therefore, he trained hard everyday for the next years so he would be prepared the next time he met this man again.
Some years afterwards, after providing backup to two mages, he got the opportunity to join TSAB, as a Tactical Instructor. He accepted the offer and is currently working in the Training department.
His goal, which he hasn’t told anyone except Vic and Doc, is to kill “Slice”. If the TSAB would find out about this he would get in trouble.
Macmillan is one you would consider hardworking and honest. He always does his best to satisfy his superiors and he is known for disobeying orders just to get the job done.
In general, he is protective and cares about those closest to him. Similar to Vic, he also likes to take it easy during his free-time often seen reading or writing.
Being who he is, Macmillan looks up to his superior which is Captain Nanoha Takamachi. He is often her aide during training and also sometimes participates in mock battles against the trainees.
He is rarely called out to missions but when he is, casualties are held to a minimum.

Defense mixed with offense. Macmillan is known for his defensive abilities and his superiors aren’t late to put them to good use. His role is to protect his fellow mages from any kind of attacks while they prepare their long-range attacks. He is also sometimes used at the frontlines as a shield for the mages upfront.
Full body armor with reflecting armor plates capable of blocking magic and strikes with ease. Similar to old knight armor just a little smaller, much lighter and futuristic. Colored in black.
Takes the shape of a small necklace with a small shield attached to it. Red and gold colored. Has a cartridge system capable of loading two cartridges at the same time providing more power than usual. He refers to Macmillan as “Sir”.
Guardian Mode: The necklace expands and forms a metallic pole with a shield in the middle where the grips are. Provides big defense with the shield and some offensive power with the pole.
Protection Mode: A stronger version of Guardian Mode. Expands the shield, covering a larger area.
Bubble Mode: A very special mode, this increases the size of the shield to cover a large area in a bubble, protecting it from nearly all types of damage. No offensive action can be done in this mode.
Usually in a defensive stance, shield at the ready, waiting for an attack. If the attack is blocked he moves fast forward and hits his target with the pole. There isn’t much of diversity in this style so offensive is not a strength for Macmillan.
Since Macmillan is much more focused on defense, his offensive spells are lacking.
Vanguard Spinner: The pole attached to the shield spins around at high speed, creating a massive wind, blowing opponents out of the way.
Vanguard Smasher: Macmillan transfers magic to the shield and smashes the target with it, making the target fly backwards several meters.
Vanbarrier: A barrier forms around Macmillan providing excellent defense against attacks from all sides. Weaker than Vanshield.
Vanshield: Stronger than Vanbarrier but can only defend in one direction.
Vanbubble: A special spell only usable in Bubble Mode. In addition to the Bubble Modes huge shield, this adds an outer layer of magic protection around the bubble. This is considered one of the best defensive spell as it can absorb huge amounts of damage from all directions before breaking. The only negative side to this is that those inside the shield cannot move and that it drains huge amounts of mana from the caster.
SaE Organisation Pofile
: All that is known about SaE’s leaders is their codenames: Sparrow and Eagle (Profile for these two are currently unavaible due to lack of data)
: Unknown. Probably the elimination of all TSAB forces.
The SaE organization revolves around using mechs and drones to accomplish their goals. The two leaders are rarely seen and are thought to control their mechanical army from their flying HQ.
: 4 different types of mechs/drones has been created by SaE so far:
Type 1 “Fighter”:
Small, light and agile. These little machines are designed as close-combat specialists and fights with their two legs with a kind of martial arts style. One block for a head with sockets for cameras and both legs are attached to it, making it look like a box on legs.
They cannot take much damage, but packs a punch and can dodge very fast.
Height: 1 meter
Weight: 100 kg
Powersource: Unknown, might be electric.
Capability: Can operate in heat and rain, but its movement is highly decreased in cold or
snow, making it very vulnerable (This is the same for both Type 1 and 2)
Speed: Faster than a human, probably around 20 km/h
Weapons: Uses its legs to attack by kicking.
Type 2 “Mammoth”
: Massive long-range mech. These behemoths are huge compared to a human and looks like a blob on 2 legs. On the top, 2 big pipes stick out, serving as artillery cannons. The calibres of the shells are known to be 155 mm, similar to a Howitzer. The firing rate is slow but it is capable of firing 2 shots at the same time. When it prepares to fire, its legs punch into the ground and stabilize the mech. It is always used when attacking stationary targets.
The “Mammoth” does not have any kind of defense, but are always protected by at least 10 “Fighters”.

Capability: See Type 1.
Speed: Very slow, walking speed.
Weapons: 2 artillery cannons with 155 mm non-explosive shells.
Type 3 “Buzzer”
: These are the flying equivalents of the “Fighter”. Very small, agile and easily destroyed but very dangerous. They are equipped with several small phasors around its round body. It looks like a thick plate and has small wings that makes a buzzing sound, thereof its name.
Height: 25 centimetres.
Width: 50 centimetres.
Weight: 40 kg.
Capability: Completely inoperable in cold weather, due to ice on the wings making it unable to move.
Speed: Very fast. Around 100 km/h
Weapons: 4 phasors is mounted around the plate, making it capable of hitting everything 360 degrees around it.
Type 4 “Cyclone”
: Very rare flying machines, only 2 exist. The TSAB thinks they are used to host all the other mechs and drones and that it also serves as HQ for SaE.
It has unknown weaponry but is thought to have air-to-land artillery and anti-air defense. Its size is huge and its armor is extremely resilient, capable of sustaining massive damage.
It is not able to land and if it runs out of fuel it’s simply going to crash so to keep it running the smaller drones gathers fuel from where they can find it and retrieves it.
Has the appearance of a B2 Stealth Bomber but is much bulkier.
Width (wingtip-to-wingtip): 100 meters.
Height: 20 meters.
Length: 60 meters.
Weight (Fully loaded): 300 ton
Propulsion: Unknown, but most likely jet engines.
Capability: Can handle all weather types.
Cruising Speed: 900 km/h

Weapons (In theory): One 200 mm artillery cannon, can only fire on land. Dozens of anti-air lasers may be scattered around the ship.

Fate of the Reapers (FotR)
Reapers Organisation Profile
(This information is taken from records contained together with Lost Logia or simply found in ruins.)
: It exist a lot of theories of where the Reapers came from but noone knows exactly.
One of the most believable theories is that they were created by the people of Al Hazard, a very long time ago. As the artificial beings they are they were easily controlled, to a start. But something happened that made them turn on their creators. It is unknown what turned them, but after Al Hazard got destroyed the Reapers fled the world and roamed on other worlds for several centuries. They have since then not been seen.
: They make use of Lost Logia they have retrieved from their travels over worlds and have the ability to create hyper-advanced weaponry, armor, medical machines and other similar things from it.
They also seem capable of converting other races to a Reaper with advanced transformation magic and technology. The subject retains it form but its mind gets changed into that of a Reaper and can impossibly be turned back, if they don’t use the same method as the Reapers used. The process is unknown.
This is however very rare as the Reapers only convert them they see as worthy and if they are not dead.
: The Reaper’s goal is unknown, but they seem to be dragged to Lost Logia when it’s being used creating highly dangerous situations where Reapers come from nowhere, crush
their enemies and take the Lost Logia.
: The Reapers don’t have a leader and they all look the same. It seems like they are part of a big network, synchronising their thoughts with each other but are still able to make their own decisions. They are highly intelligent and that’s one of the reasons they don’t need a leader.
: A Reaper is, in a sense, incapable of dying from age since they can live far longer than any other living organism. This is however if they find Lost Logia to improve their technology with. Their artificial bodies must be continuously repaired and replaced, which make them easier to be killed.
This is why they often send out their most newly repaired brethren into battle, since they have the most combat ability and can sustain huge amounts of damage.
It is believed it exists a few thousands Reapers, but only less than half can actually go to battle. The rest don’t have the resources to be repaired and is used for other priorities instead.
How a Reaper looks like is largely unknown, since those who have seen one usually gets killed. Of the few sightings gathered only a small percentage makes sense: Higher than a human and very muscular. Has a black coat as a type of thin armor, covering the body including the head.

Combat style and weapons
: A Reaper fight as a brute. Since they can take huge damage before going down, they don’t care to dodge (This is also a weakness). They just swing their weapons and hit the opponent.
A Reaper does not know any type of magic and relies only on traditional melee and/or ranged weaponry.
Their melee weapons have 2 forms and one function: close-range combat.
” form: Shaped like a scythe, similar to Fate’s “Bardiche”. One of the reasons they are called “Reapers”. They swing these as any traditional scythe, slashing around them trying to cut the enemy down.
” form: A rarely seen weapon, this one is shaped as a big hammer, which are simply used for smashing. It’s usually used at attacking stationary targets (bases, stations etc.)
The Reapers have long-range weapons but since noone has managed to get close to a location with those types of warrior, how they look like is unknown. All known about the weapon is that it fires some type of energy bolt.
