in greek when you see the letters o and ι close like in Μοίρα you say Mira because οι= ι ( the ι is like the latin/japanese i )
also in greek ι = ι, η=ι, υ=ι, ει = ι, οι = ι, ου = u, ευ=ef,
in other words in greek there are 5 types of ι that are pronounced all in the same way,
the u is represented with ου, so in the word Δούλοι (=servants, slaves) - the letter Δ is pronounced like the "th" in the words "that" and "this" - you read Δuli
