What was so hard about animating a funeral scene? Where all the other characters weep for Lelouch, especially Kallen and Nunnally.
Personally, I loved the ending but I was a tad disappointed that they didn't put the icing on the cake. They wanted a sad ending right? Why didn't they make it sad all the way instead of that ambiguous epilogue.
They missed a critical chance to make me bawl completely. For shame Sunrise.
IMO, something like this + a funeral scene would make Code Geass' ending one of the most perfect endings that was ever made.
