Question: Why couldn't the original author of R+V manga be hired to actually DO the storyboard for the anime with coaching from the studio? Sort of like a Director's Cut version where the original vision and theme (slightly darker, less ecchi) remain intact? Pride? Politics? Culture?
Though i can easily forsee a clash with the director who will want his interpretation of the manga (i.e. Harry Potter 1-2 VS 3-onwards) and the studio itself which has marketing pressures to pander to the greatest demographic
