I never said that there aren't people out there who wants to try something new. I said that the intent of the FFXIV team is to make certain things similar to FFXI so FFXI players who are adverse to change will still try it. This is a proven fact as it is stated in multiple interviews. They want FFXI players to play the game, and are providing a similar setting so they would. You might think otherwise, but this is what the creative team thinks.
