I doubt that she's a witch though, there's no crest shown. Young Virgilia? Why would there be a necessity to show a young Virgilia? I'm not sold on that.
As for her being Kinzo's wife, I honestly fail to see how her could "impact" on the plot though. Young Asumu could still be a valid option though, or the other person I mentioned in my spoiler. Or maybe just a new character that hasn't even been mentioned yet, afterall it's Ryukishi07 that we're dealing with...
