Yep. Valkyria Chronicles is cool like that.

Like I'd ever take the opinion of a 20 year old fan girl on a topic such as this.

The game is more colorful than the anime BECAUSE of Alicia and Welkin not being neutered. Since Welkin had his balls cut in the conversion to anime, they needed a strong male to stand front, and they chose Faldio.

Game Welkin > Anime Faldio any second of any lifetime.

Game players know what I'm talking about when I say there is one scene where Welkin stands out like few male leads ever could...
