I would mutilate some extremely adorable things to see Phillip Pullmans "His Dark Materials" trilogy made into an anime. The movie failed, miserably - Though it would be possible to make a good movie adaptation.. just very difficult. Also, (maybe just me), a vivid and colorful animated adaptation of the books might suit it better than a live-action one. Meh.. but thats never going to happen since the movie sucked so bad
