Welkin really needs to eat some rocks and harden the fuck up. It's good to see him leading the attack personally when they breach the defences but he can't tell a girl he likes her?
Or have the intelligence to notice her feelings.

In the game there was a great cinematic between Welkin and Alicia before the Feast and their relationship grew by leaps and bounds. Granted Alicia is the one who made the first moves towards a lover's relationship, Welkin at least admitted he hoped their relationship went well.
