Thanks to the usual suspects I've seen footage of this thing in action. Sure, it's practically indestructible, but folks who consider it broken apparently aren't thinking it all the way through (see also: people who insist on referring to mated GLs as 'noob tubes'). As you note, a Semtex charge will make it and its wielder go bye-bye (this should also be true for rockets), and flashbangs create a handy albeit brief opening. Also, you can always lob grenades
behind them (how many times have you had to do this to gun emplacements and so on in VC?). If the area is open enough, your teammates should be trying to flank the 'train'.
