I think with it being a fairly new anime (although I understand an ongoing manga storyline) the producers of FT are wary of putting blood & broken bones into the mix at this moment in time.
But once this anime gets established we should see the censorship taken down a notch or two.
Look at Sasuke, he had half his chest missing a few episodes back!
